Sam is a very accomplished and experienced singer/songwriter. She has thrilled audiences from her home city of Leeds through Cyrpus, the French Alps and French Riviera to cruise ships sailing out of Sydney Harbour.
She has produced some superb self-written material and has a massive catalogue of covers. 
we hope you can Join us for our favourate night of the week, Bursting with local Talent!! There's something for everyone - so come down and see for yourselves what all the Fuss is about :)

This week with Guest Hosts Waiting for Wednesday!!
      
Anna Watkins has been wowing audiences with her Janis Joplin-esque voice for 3 years in a rock covers band known as 'Rubber Kazoo'. Laura Shackleton has been writing songs, playing guitar and singing her heart out for 6 years, and has dabbled in various folk bands such as 'Hippy & The Toffs' and 'The Longford Family Band'. 
The girls met each other after seeing one another perform and decided to get together for a 'jam' around January 2011. A few strums, two voices, 3 cases of beer and several hangovers later they decided they could make something of it. Booked a few gigs and never looked back. Waiting For Wednesday play a mixture of heartfelt originals and some quirky covers of pop, rock, country and folk songs. The banter and friendship between the two is very apparent on stage.

Having sung professionally for over ten years, Sam has realised a need for a delivery that goes beyond the standard format of the artist playing a series of songs to a listening audience.
By weaving into the fabric of the evening: chat, stories and your song requests, together with her own beautifully crafted original material, she creates a warm, inclusive atmosphere where everyone can enjoy being involved!
